We built a shared equipment rental platform for tourists, venue operators, and platform operations teams at cultural tourism campsites in Southeast Asia. It supports QR code activation, time-based billing, geofencing, equipment monitoring, and multi-level profit sharing for various facilities such as off-road mountain equipment and parent-child amusement devices. Users can complete rentals self-service, while operators can monitor equipment, orders, and revenue status in real time.

Equipment rental needs to move from manual billing to digital operations
Traditional camp rental operations depend on staff registration, deposit collection, and manual timing, which during peak periods often result in queues, billing disputes, and the risk of equipment loss. As the range of equipment expands, the complexity of billing rules and usage procedures increases accordingly.
We recognized that the project's goal extends beyond merely enabling "scan-to-pay" transactions; it aims to establish a unified system where equipment seamlessly transitions from activation to usage, return, and revenue distribution.
Devices, orders, and offline safety must stay connected in real time
Moving vehicles involves usage areas, standardized returns, and violations for driving out of bounds, while fixed equipment may be charged by count, duration, or package. Low battery, equipment malfunctions, and abnormal usage all need to be detected in a timely manner.
The platform also needs to accurately calculate revenue distribution among site owners, equipment owners, and cooperative operators. Any order with unclear status may affect equipment management and subsequent settlement.
Combine IoT, payments, and revenue sharing to create a complete end-to-end unmanned rental solution
We enable users to activate devices directly by scanning a QR code. The system automatically tracks time and charges, and at the end of the order, it handles payment, updates device status, and confirms the return, reducing repetitive manual tasks for on-site staff.
For offline safety, we integrate geofencing, device status, usage rules, and abnormal alerts to promptly notify about boundary crossings, low battery, malfunctions, and abnormal terminations. All critical operations are logged.
In terms of business model, we support commission based on rental orders and profit sharing across multiple campsites and partners, allowing the same system to be replicated to different campsites and device scenarios at a lower cost.
We solve the problem of shared devices being "rentable but difficult to manage safely, bill accurately, and split profits clearly."
Technology is not the goal — exponential business growth is.
